Due Dates and Payment Schedule

Property tax bills in Owen County are typically issued twice a year:

  • Spring Installment: Due on or around May 10
  • Fall Installment: Due on or around November 10

If the due date falls on a weekend or holiday, payment is due on the next business day. Late payments will incur penalties and interest as outlined in Indiana Code.

  • Online with credit card, debit card, or e-check
  • In person by check, money order, or cash (exact amount preferred)
  • By mail: Make checks payable to “Owen County Treasurer” and include your parcel number in the memo line
